Your vtr 3 plug yeh? You'll need a vts engine from a 3plug vts.

Yeh thats wat i was thinking, is it literally just a conversion based on your plugs? or is there more than that? other things that need to add up?

If you buy a 3plug loom, unlocked ecu and engine you're 80% there

Could do with a fuel return aswell.. not 100% needed but if you're doing a job, might aswell do it properly.
Also remember to upgrade your front brakes.

Why? VTR's and VTS's use the same brakes... The only difference is ABS.
Standards are adequate for everyday driving.

If he's putting a VTS engine in it, i'm guessing he's going to be pushing it more.
Standard VT brakes are shockingly bad imo.

Had 266mm's on my VTR, awesome brakes, wouldn't need more braking power than that on the road IMO...
Have standards on my VTS, can't fault them other than the fade when having a bit of a blast.
