Hi all just joined up about 20 mins ago looking to buy a air induction kit for my saxo vtr mk2.
the image below is the 1 ive been looking to buy and was just wondering if i insert the breather pipe straight into the little metal hole sticking out next to the air filter?
and also is this all i need or will i need to buy a breather also?

You would need a breather or catch tank! But tbh mate that filter is not goning to be very good! If you want noise its fine but you will see a decrease in power as it going to be sucking in all the hot air from the bay. But like i said if you just want noise go for it.
Look into Enclosed induction kits if its performance you want.
Edit: also this comment "Adds up to 5 to 10 additional horsepower and up to 16 foot pounds of torque ! " is complete bullshit. :P

That little Blue pipe goes from the hole (outlet)in the chrome pipe then goes to the rocker cover where you have an outlet attach it with a jubilee clip.

Either buy a cold air feed or use the standard pipe coming from the radiator grill.

Its the resonator box(keeps everything quiet)ditch it when you fit the kit.
