either a dodgey one or incorrectly fitted or ill treated.

if ryan came and saw this thread he would recommend valeo, and his knowledge is probably the most respected on here

How did it explode and shower your mates car in bits?

I fitted a LUK clutch to mine recently and its been spot on. So would reccomend.

Looks like that clutch has taken some serious abuse or you're running some serious power.

Clutch plate looks more than three months old imo

I wasnt (EDITED - wrote was first off ) implying you were a liar, just questioning the age of the clutchplate should you have got a garage to fit it - if you fitted it yourself then no worries.

I personally don't think they'd replace it as a warranty claim, but you have nothing to lose trying. Just depends how you treated it in the 3months

Valeo/Luk/Sachs seem to be the 'premium' clutches that people get on fine with - maybe just bad luck.

ive fitted plenty techniclutch kits to cars aswell and ive never had any issues with them tbh, some of my mates cars ive fitted them too get totally abused so i think theyre very uderated as a kit tbh
