View Full Version : Converting my furio to a c2 gt
Iv been offered an engine (110bhp) from c2 gt thats been rear ended. Im trying to figure out what i need from the c2 and from Il need to source from a saxo VTS to do the conversion.
I can take anything I want from the c2 but Im guessing from the vts il need the inlet and exhaust manifolds, ecu, loom, keys transponder, gearbox and driveshafts from a vts/gti.
Can someone run through what Il need. :y:

and i think you need the vts sump as the c2's are taller

well u will want the loom and ecu from the c2 surely and if you get an unlocked ecu you wont need the key and transponder and if the vts gearbox fits the c2 engine then yea it'll be safer using the vts box and shafts

The C2 use fly by wire throttle, cable shift box, hydro clutch and so on. None of it fits directly in to a Saxo. Generally people use the bare engine and bin the rest. You can use all the parts off a Saxo VTS and bolt them to the C2 though you have to modify the C2 head to fit the Saxo VTS inlet by drilling and tapping new howls for the inlet. Or you can get a stand alone engine management system with individual cable throttle bodies and build up a custom loom. The likes of GMC or Kam on here can sort you said parts for the latter.
