if i get an omex ecu would it be ok for running boost?
also would it have features such as soft cut rev limiter, launch control and shift light? or would i have to buy the kit for that?

yeah soft and hard cut, launch control and an axu out you can use for a shiftlight. Well the 600 does not sure about the lower ones, the launch control requires extra hardware though

Have a look on the OMEX website for the spec of their Ecu's - you''ll probably be after the 600series
Yes, although I'm pretty sure you'd need an external MAP sensor to suit the relevant boost pressure you were looking to run.
It will have a soft cut rev-limiter and hard cut.
It does have the option for launch control, not sure about a shift light - I think it has a certain number of outputs that you can use for various things.
