Strange noise

got a grinding noise coming from the engine bay near the driver wheel arch. the grind changes pitch lifting clutch up and down. also it has started happening since i got a decat. any ideas what the problem might be?

just a guess but the pitch note change when you lift the clutch could be the release bearing but that would be moreso the passenger side/center of the engine
