im putting an early silvertop vtr engine in my quicksilver.
im going to be using the quiky gearbox and doing a few other mods so i want to make shure i get the induction right.

ive decided to go with a standard airbox with a panel filter but which one???
do i use my 1.4 quiksilver round element airbox?
the 1.6 vtr round element that the early vtr's used?
the later vtr airbox with flat panel filter
or later furio and quicky airbox that used flat panel filter??

which is going to give the best gains??
i would asume they would all be about the same but is this ture?
ive noticed that the pipe that feeds the airbox with air from the front of the car reduces really thin then goes fat again, would it be any benifit swaping this for the vtr pipe that doesnt reduce in size?
will they all fit?? or only certin ones fit??

no a full vtr engine and injectors running on quiksilver ecu, flywheel, clutch and gearbox.
then after i get back off holiday will get a 4-2-1 manifold and de-cat.

just want to know which standard airbox flows the best.

Get a vts one on there, ive got one, but will need the hose and make a better cold airfeed for it.

i was thinking of doing just that but i was unsure if the airboxes that take a flat panel filter flow better.
