Sorry was in the wrong category before :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all,

I have a S reg 1.1 Saxo with 75k on the clock. It has had a lot of work done on it in the last 24 months but some little things have started to go weird and opinions on to what they are/how they are happening would be appreciated.

FYI its had a new cam belt, new head gasket in 2009 due to a massive oil leak, new cat converter, all new brakes etc.

Over the last week or so - whenever I have turned a corner sharply the radiator light comes on and then goes off again, now both the radiator and oil light comes on and then goes off again as soon as i straighten up.

The oil is fine as it has been checked, there are no leaks or anything.
However today my other half was driving it and the radiator cap came off.. so have now replaced with a new one.

We did the water in it last week as it was low.. but the lights still go on and off sporadically.

Today however, the cooling light seems to be on constantly from start, the fans are working fine though and kicking in. It seems to be losing a lot of water though!

Thats the main problem, am so worried in case there is a problem with the gasket after reading horror stories as def cant afford another one of those!
There is no scum or white stuff around the oil cap though.
Any ideas greatly appreciated...
