Morrette cold air feed + rain etc?

This might be a daft question, but someone clear this up for me. with a morrette cold air feed going into the mk1 standard airbox, when it rains on the motorway, doesnt rain just get into the air box?

The filter will stop most of it as it is oiled

ah k thanks. so with a standard filter etc. water wont get into the throttle bodie

i wouldn't worry about it. Unless you have it pointing upwards like a funnel it won't do anything bad
