Clutch finally went at weekend but dont want to get a standard replacement as obviously they wear quick when your cars power output is greater than that of the clutches reccommendations.
Are techniclutch fast road clutches any good for a mk2 vts and iv also heard fast road clutches can be a bastard to handle in normal day to day driving when driving smoothly or pulling off on a hill.
Advice appreciated

i have heard of some people getting on well with the techniclutch, others find it too harsh for road use, others find they collapse after 2k miles

A lot of people on here stick with the standard Valeo clutch and don't have a problem at all, me included.

What sort of power are you running by the way? I assume nothing over say 160?

standard should suit you unless your car is over 170ish, but then still be ok, but can always uprated it,

I've got a techni clutch and it's really good, much prefer it to standard clutch. Get used to it really quickly. I have gone through two of them though, think that was because they were fitted badly though :s

Only really on here I have read people saying they are not worth the extra cost unless running big power of which nobody really is.
