does any one know if getting cams fitted to a vtr will increase the performance and BHP.. is it worth doin?

My Saxo has full piper system de-cated, gettin piper manifold soon, induction kit. then cams chiped and remapped, could any 1 tell me wat they think it would be running bhp wise i have the 98bhp . cheers craig

it would be better in the long run to either sell and buy a vts or get a conversion :),

you only have one cam, yes it would give an increase but nothing huge.

Have a seach mate its been covered 100 times over.

if you fit correct cam + choose correct h/gasket = change vlave springs at same time + 4-1 manifold ,dumping the cat you will get around +15 bhp --after that it cost lots to get much more -it wil make a very nce all round car ,but never be as quick as a tuned vts .
check price of my piper manifolds --before you get one elswhere i will not be beat on price

cheers guys i realy want to keep the vtr engine...only got 60000 on the clock.. a mate was sayin get a vts head on it is tha a hard thing to doo..wat kinda work is in volved
