I removed the airbox on my vts today and noticed the thermostat has three sensors, the blue and green sensors are connected to the loom but then I noticed an additional brown sensor on the bottom of the thermostat that has nothing connected to it, and I can't find what ever is suppost to connect to it either.

What does it do and howcome the engine runs fine without it, theres even no warning light on the dash. confusing. :geek:

:S a brown sensor not connected? You mean a brown multiplug from the loom??? If so then its probably just a spare. Sometimes the gearbox reverse gear sensor has a brown mulitplug.

Apparently its for the air conditioning module, I always thought it was an alternative sensor for the radiator fan but I guess I was wrong.
