what you mean threaded end?
The little brass nipple you put the cable through ?
I'm using a bike gear change cable and black cable, then using a brass nipple on the other end - should do the job nicely :)

put up a picture of your throttle cable quadrant on the TB's (where the throttle cable attaches to them)

Might be the best idea I'll upload a pic tonight and then go from there, iirc it's the linkage that they modify not the connector?

The original cables don't, but replacement cables tend to have a screw on nipple at the engine end.

Could you post a pic of it so I can confirm it's the right one?
How many miles has it done/what condition is it in?

go to a euro parts and order a replacement rallye cable, same as the xantia and 406, the cable is huge and you cut it down to lenght, it has a threaded brass nipple on and this will do spot on, krys' must have had a replacement in the past
iirc theyre £11.60 or something, got one last week for my quicky as ive got a rallye inlet and chucked out my other cable but the quicky one doesnt fit

the cables come huge as a replacement, yours must have been cut down so that it was only as long as needed before it was fitted, uncut you could fit them to any

Yer that will work on any Saxo and 106 engine. All you need to do is cut it down to the right length.

i just bought a cable off ebay that stated it will fit ANY 106/saxo its just a long bit of cable that you cut down to size, when i fitted my rallye inlet everyone kept saying you need a certain sized one, which i didnt i just bought a general saxo one and it worked fine

most replacement cables are universal, its just the accessories that come with them that "can" be specific to certain models, e.g the adaptors for the pedal and rubber bungs etc
