View Full Version : fuel preuuse regualtor for turbo conversion?

looking at buying my fuel pressure regulator for my vtr turbo, the standard fpr is in the tank, but will be mounting mine just before the fuel rail to teh bulkhead

my question is am i better getting a set 3.5 or 4 bar one or an adjustable one?

anyone reccomend an adjustable or set pressure?

I'd go with 4Bar, but sure 3.5 would be fine.

Keep the fuel pressure up when high boost. Plus can max how far the injectors go bhp wise

I'm running the oem fpr housing in the engine bay at the moment - I'll get some pics today and post them up in my prog thread.

Weber do an external housing for fpr, so do jenvey, or Colin satchel does one.

Don't get an adjustable one, stick with a fixed fpr with a good brand. A changine fpr will put your map right out.

i never have an issue with fuel pressure unless it goes below a 1/3 tank and then it bogs down/hesitates because all the fuel is thrown to the back of the tank
