For the price?

No, its completly useless as theres nothing shielding the heat from the engine, your best going for a CDA or a Simota/raceland closed induction.

Ahh right I see just I want my engine bay to look clean as well that's why I was looking into the chrome kits.

Chrome will look clean for the first week. Then will just look worse over time as it gets dirty. Unless your prepared to clean it regularly

Yeah clean my car once a week so shouldn't be a problem just don't want spend money on a kit that is useless and over priced :)

The price of that kit really is useless and overpriced, Unless you want to pay hundreds for one of the carbon enclosed induction kits or the K&N Gen 2 then i would go for the raceland enclosed, they sell it on kam-racing.

might just wait till they get the raceland one back in stock is it any good then? also ive heard people talking about changing the filter to a green cotton?

You wont feel a difference, will just help the engine breath better and may sound abit nicer, But yep indeed they change for the larger green cotton filter instead of the red.
