fuel feed and return pipes and mystery pipe

currently reassembling my car after hg replacement. Single plug ecu 106 gti. Cannot remember which fuel line is which. Ideally need a pic. Cheers. also have a pipe coming through the wing near the washer bottle, clips in just under the cam cover, behind the belt cover and to near the inlet manifold. Anyone know where it plugs into? Cheers

Put the key to '2nd click' with a rag over both ends, fuel will spurt out the one from the fuel pump.

This one goes on the fuel rail nipple nearest the ecu

Or just put whichever one on which you think if the car starts and runs you know you have the correct direct feed, wont do any harm if you dont have it right either lol.

Unless you leave it too long then pressure will build up back to the pump, as the fuel will not go back through the regulator

as above i didnt no which one was which so i just connected them it didnt start the first time so swapped them over and it started :y:

When I was taking the engine out one of the cars the other day I pondered which went to what but the quick release connectors are the same colour as the plug.

normal there a colour coded so you cant go wrong and the other pipe coming from the driver side wire goes just never the map sensor
