Vehicle is a V plate saxo 1.1 single point injection.
after replacing the engine and wiring harness, this is the problem i got.
when the car is running it has a very bad idleing and hesitating problem. so I put my snap on machine into the diagnostic connector. and these three faults came up.
1 = Throttle position sensor (TPS).
2 = Intake Air Temperature (IAT).
3 = Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS).
i've checked all the resistances of each sensor and they are fine.
after a bit more investigating, I found that each of the three sensors gets ground through Pin 26 of the ECU.
When I tone the wire back to battery or its earth on the gearbox. Only Coolant Temperature sensor. gets back. the other 2 faults dont.
yes hopefully I've found the problem just cuerius if any one else has had this type of fault......
