it can be done, i wouldnt bother personally. for what you'll spend doing it you may as well spend the extra £100 on a vtr engine and do it to that

you can, and you can get a lot of power from it,
but whether you can afford it, and how reliable it will be are other matters.

someones done it on here before but for shits and giggles if i remember, as they had the parts lying around

personally, you'd be better off dropping a bigger engine in. hence why everybody doesnt have a 1.1t ;)

yes you could do it but cost is alot,
i once seen a rally nova that had sleeves bringing it down to a 1.0 litter and it was turbod and camed, remaped, full custom exhaust, gasflowed, fully lightend, and a hell of alot more work done to it and it was pushing a 182bhp, so you can get alot out of them, but not alot of point considering a gti engine with a few quid spent on it will match that N/A so.....

you can indeed my friend, it may give you more horses to ride on but definately not the chosen spec engine everyone would go for but however the exception is there due to natural selection and preference

Whats the point, the best you will get will be the same power as a vts (low budget) or have it blow up/need a rebuild every 4-5k miles.

If you want a turbo'd car...buy one, its the easyest way.
