Went outside to try and fit my magnex backbox tonight, after i had took the standard backbox off i realised they were completly different sizes and different fitments, i now have no idea how ti fit it lol.. heres pics to show the different sizes and fittings

how am i supposed to get that to fit?? :wall:

You need to cut and weld the centerpipe, if you have a standard centerpipe then you need to make a reducer for a temp fix i used the cut off bit opened it on side and fitted that. Or if your good at welding you can build it up.

^^^^ yep thats the only way best to take it to a garage or sell it and get a cat back system

Would rather fit a standard backbox to a standard centre then have them two bodged together.
do it properly and buy a magnex centre section if you really want that backbox on.
Looks like the previous owner has left a bit of their centre section on and not cut the magnex backbox thank god. so you could just undo the clamp and pull the shit bit of pipe out.
The magnex system is supposed to slot together.

As said... take it to a garage that does welding. Show them the back box and they will do the rest. easy as shit.
probably charge you about £30-40
i had a backbox cut an welded, and my centre section removed and replaced with straight pipe, and he charged me £60! it was mega!
but then my westie died shortly after, so have it to do again... :(

i get paid next week so might take it to a garage and get a custom decat pipe made :p cheers for the help guys :y:
