Does's any of you know something about 130 bhp vts without any modifications? This versions should be made from 2001 and has catalyst in manifold. Is this true?

I think what it is, is the 120bhp model. Some of them had some removed that made up 130bhp, although never confirmed by Citroen, there are a handful af VTS's pushing the extra 10bhp.
They werent put into production, because apparently, they were very close to the emmisions levels, and so they stuck with 120 bhp.

Yeah it's like the Golf 4 GTI. Usually it pulls 150hp but it appears there are versions with 167???

i have a bit of info on this, while at GMC john was explaining to me about how the ECU's were changed at around 2001. Before VTS had 120bhp on ECU 1
then VTS got a new map on ECU 1 pushing it up slightly to 130bhp
then VTS got new ecu(3pin type or sumthing) with same 130 map but with exhaust emissions thing on, bringing it down to 120bhp
Most X reg VTS are 130bhp, mine put 106bhp at wheels as strandard, normal is around 96bhp. Plus john took mine for a test drive and he said it was quicker than a standard.
hope that helps
