just brought one of kam racing but did not go for the optional green filter does this make a difference and can they be brought serperalty will the noise and performance still be the same for a standard 106 gti

you can get them from most places, and they are one of the highest rated filters you can get tbh and it would be better than the raceland cone

The green air filters alone are regarded as one of the best so really the raceland scoop in a way is the addon. The bigger the cone the louder the sound normally

dont get your hopes up of the raceland enclosure fittin well.
sold mine as i didnt like the fit of it but hey im picky lol

Wouldnt take no notice of this post, they actually fit & look fine if done properly.

Some extra work, i.e clamps etc, but nothing abit of common sense wont help with.

spot on. i used halfords speaker brackets bent them to fit original bolt holes fit perfect no hassles

i bought mine with the bigger green twin cone option, it sounds imense, never tried it with the original small cone it looks pretty crap tbh, technically speaking the larger cone will produce more power, but this is marginal and you proberly wouldnt be able to tell the difference in performance, although the induction note may be different
