gearbox help?? pug 206 quicksilver box??? 02/09/10

i mate of mine has a 206 quicksilver 1.6 16v
engine is this this the same as vts/gti box?
as its a 1.6 16v engine i need yo know asap

1.1 or VTS box for the acceleration, slightly lower top end speed and higher revs..VTS box is the same as a 1.1 really just stronger.

VTR and 1.4? boxes for higher top end speeds with less revs and slightly slower off the mark.

and i dont want to be driving around in hight revs all the time.

and dont mind spending some cash on a good box.

Rallye/xsi, GTi or as you already mentioned a VTS box. Theres no compromise with them...

Vts box has taller 5th doesnt it? I have a 1.1 box in my vtr and its quicker but top end is much lower!

vts box is the best, the rallye/xsi boxes are good for acceleration but you said you dont want to be in high revs so that counts out the rallye/xsi/1.1 boxes, the vts box is shorter than the vtr, but i have a vtr box on my vts ive also had a 1.1 box and i didnt notice too much difference its still a quick car even with the vtr box! were talking mille seconds faster to 0-60 its not as bad as you think having a vtr box
