ok basically iv bought a 1.6 vts conversion kit for my 1.1 saxo. my m8s a mechanic and said it would all fit so i bought it. he then told me its from a mk2 saxo and mines a mk 1 so wont go in cos of the ecu. so nowi have a complete 1.6 vts engine with gearbox with all ancileries. From 52 plate rear damaged vts (rare 3 plug ecu) ideal upgade or replacement easy fit to late vtr etc. engine has covered 61000. Cambelt was replaced at 50000 miles. this engine has been maintained regardless and runs very well pulls smoothly through all gears. only for sale due to rear end damage. i have done quite a few conversions in the past so i no what you will need and will be including all the parts your 1.1 / vtr conversion etc. including engine, box, ALL ancileries including full wiring loom ecu front suspension brakes and drive shafts coolent rad and fans.

does anyone no the best way to sell this? im going to relist it on ebay hopefully end of the week, any other ideas on how to sell it? thanks

Oh and the "rare 3 plug" ecu... really isnt that rare.. just newer.

EDIT: And by newer i mean in the latter of the saxo's made (the mk2) and by no means better in any way, shape or form than a single plug.

you can fit the mk2 engine in to a mk1! the loom just needs "tweeking" lol personally id never fit the wrong engine loom in to my car but it can be done my mate has done it in his 106 gti (single plug to three plug)

3 plug conversion are rarer than single plug ones, hell of a lot more single plug conversions than three plug ones... not saying its worth anymore though

i guessing it because if you have a newer car (three plug) your less tempted to mess about with your car, a lot more crashed old saxos... dunno really but they arent common
