Not really needed unless you plan on increasing fuel when going for high figures i.e. TBs/SC or turbo

iv seen a lot of people have newman ph3s with the saxo runni from 145-170 in the higher range would it be wise to have a boost valve if u r runnin 160-170?

From my understanding of their function they don't bring any benefits that couldn't be done cheaper and safer

not particularly stable, and a rather pointless exercise when the standard 3 bar pressure is enough in most cases, and if more is needed there are plenty of off the shelf units that give a higher pressure to fit the standard fuel rail.

and yes I have experienced one and it made the car run like a bag of spanners.

supposedly it increase fuel pressure under acceleartion giving you a sharper acceleration --if car is well mapped then noneed for more fuelling as it will have all the acceleration fuelling required.
there have been car types that would benifit from it --but not a saxo

so your sayin if ya car if mapper correctly you should not need one as your engine will be runni at its safe but max potenital. sorry about spelling.
