I have just got a rallye inlet manifold and am going to fit it to my vtr i have looked at the guide of how to do it and it says i need a 106 diesel throttle cable but what year 106 do i get this from.

what age is your vtr anyway? will only fit early mk2's?

You can just get a universal throttle cable i believe, there all long enough, thats what my mechanic did anyway.

Also when following the guide fitting mine i found the wiring was wrong, I played about with it and got it running right in the end :y:

Its a 2001 but has the single plug 90bhp engine

thats cool then zo2 head so will fit fine, just didnt want you to dismantle everything to find ports didnt match, as said above, having just bought one for mine, if you order from peugeot, as i did as i work there, you'll find the part number for most tu engines including the diesel is the same or very similar for throttle cables

i would definately buy genuine though as factors will never sit correctly :)

Sorry to hijack, but did you find when you fitted the rallye inlet the throttle pedal became stiffer. Proper need to loosen it up its too stiff
