Will a s2 rallye head fit on a 90bhp silver top bottom end without any modification or if it does what sort of modification will need to be done to fit it.

been covered manytimes, search and you will see
but yes it will fit and will require an average amount of work, nothing major/massive, just fiddly stuff
you will need to convert to older type coilpack with ht leads and rewire the coilpack plug for that
you need run the s1/s2 rallye injectors (which i have for sale)
also i see ou have a mk2, which style inlet do you have? if the port spacing is like 0-0-0-0 then the s2 head will be no use as your inlet wont fit, so youd need an earlier inlet to go with head or you could even use s1 inlet for a little extra
or if the spacing is 00-00 then your all good to go, how ever like said you could see a bit more with the s1 inlet fitted, theres a couple for sale atm, it will go nicely with the head as it uses a mild cam standard
hope that helps

I have seached and can only find stuff on fitting a s1 1.3 head to a vtr i want to know if i can fit a s2 1.6 rallye head to my silvertop (90)bhp bottom end i allready have a s1 inlet manifold fitted and also got a set of 1.3 rallye injectors to be fitted so all i would need to do it convert to the older type coil pack is this right?

ahh right ok, they are the exact same heads mate, as is the 1.4 and 1.6 xsi heads, only differences re the s1 head uses different spark plugs, and the 1.4 xsi uses a slightly tamer cam but only a tiny bit tamer lol
but thats all right then, so yer all you would need to do is convert the coilpack off top of my head anyway
its a bit fiddly the wiring part anyway, you need to find any saxo or 106 runnng ht leads wether its 1.1 saxo or vtr or xsi, in a scrappy and cut the coilpack plug off and remember to cut it off with a decent amount to wiring too
when i did it i tried to match the wires up when swapping the plugs, but in the end i just used bullet connectors and just did trial and error swapping them around, cause it will only start if you get them right way round but this may bring up fault codes on the ecu, it did with mine anyway but i have diagnostics so didnt cost me to lear codes, then when they were right i took the bullet connectors off and soldered the wires together properly etc
thats the main fiddy bit tbh swapping the coilpack plugs all the rest is easy
then its just the usual stuff, cambelt, headgasket, waterpump (just for piece of mind) plugs, oil + filter etc etc, although whilst your doing all that id say defo change the crank seal, since its all off etc and for the sake of like 12 odd quid
o also while you got the head off would be worth while getting the cam seal and stem seals changed and rocker cover gasket too, and getting a light skim to make sure the surface of head is flt andget it cleaned too
