Seems about right to me mate!
A conversion will always be more expensive than buying a VTS!
Ask Damo!

im with adrian flux and im paying £750 fully comp everything declared.
The car is a 1.1 and they wanted to insure it as a VTS but i just argued the fact that it aint a VTS its a 1.1 with an engine change.
They eventually saw the light and it got insured as a 1.1 price but VTS on the docs

they were trying to insure it as a VTS, but when i explained what i had done, i straight out just said "it is not a VTS car, it's a 1.1 with a VTS engine so it should simply be insured as a 1.1 and the engine should only be classed as a modification"
they agreed after that
