Best to have a look at the FAQ section will give you all the info required. Have you got any targets you looking at, have you got a budget in mind?

Best person to ask would be user sophia_bush he's done plenty of setups.

If you're after cheap reliable I'd say you could do it for around 1-2k, one thing to note is to get fueling and management correct

cheap and reliable dont go unfortunatley, if you want reliability you need to spend money, even low boost set ups will eventually fail its inevitable

i do agree but i dont mean like 500 quid an it will last me for ever lol

even 1-2k without at minimum forged pistons wont last forever

if you go for forged pistons then id go for standalone management no point in spendig that money and trying to use an mf2 or something

Ive done one and its running ok at about 7psi, going to turn boost up soon and see what happens (buying a spare engine to forge for when it goes boom first tho :p)

If your doing it properly.

Turbo
Mani
FMIC
Boost Pipes
Down Pipe
Injectors
Fuel Pump
Oil feed and return
ECU
Engine loom
Remap
uprated clutch (depending on what power you run)

then theres other little stuff like map sensor etc that you will just need to buy as you go along... thats off top of my head though probably missed a lot lol

sometimes they do....

its all in the mapping.

i turbo'd mine on a totally stadard engine. ran 9.5 psi. i track used it, drag raced it, and to be honest, drove it like i stole it! i never ever had an engine problem.

Complete possible, forged pistons are not necessary on 'low' boost but worth considing as you will crave more once you get the bug, keep standard compression as it keeps driveability, fancy headgasket are not necessary until you enter higher boost levels, see my sig and see how my 'for now' low boost setup is running :y:
