VTS Remap....WORTH IT?

VTS 1587cc 16V

Standerd apart from a fairly good 4 INTO 1 Full exhaust systems.

I can get a Custom remap for the car, would it be worth it??

Not really, your best to get the whole exhaut done, a good airfilter, and new camshafts

then you will see a huge gain, otherwise, your throwing money for an easy job for them and power you most likely wont see..

As above really.

Most people get a remap when they 'need' one, such as after they've uprated the camshafts and the car isn't running smoothly. The remap alters the fuelling making the most of the mods.

You would see a gain with a remap, but for the monies you would be better off buying some other mods (as above). Then when you're happy with all your modifications finally get a remap to make most of them.

If you remap it now then decide in a few weeks you want full exhaust, induction kit, and cams, you would have to get another remap and your first remap would of been a waste of money.

To be honest guys i was going to go down the hole Cams and that road but for the moneys is it worth it?/ ihad it before and it made the car run like poo, fast....but lumppy, so the guy said he will get the most out of the ecu and make it run as best it can with the 4into 1 Exhausrt i have on there

Ture & i hear what your saying buddy, but am not up for cams & that i would just like the ECU to make the car run sweet as it can with my 4 INTO 1??

Steer clear them lot.........I know them and they just out to make $$$$

I had a top spec bolf and they tried telling me a put shit on it!!!! I took the car to them and said what else can you do (pretty much nothing i done everything) i didnt tell them I obvo knew the spec and they recomened i change nearly everything!!!!!!

It no dyno just computer re-map.... alltech only give you a print out saying its been done!!!! i think 180quid cant remember exactly
