Hi
Im currently changing my clutch, the car is in bits.
Im trying to remove all the gearbox sensors but there is one i cannot get off.
Its the one at the front, nearest the bumper. its a right angle shaped one.
Please help! how do i do it without breaking it?

Theres only 1 sensor in the gearbox - the reverse switch. Unless its an auto?

reverse and speed sensor.
the 1 at the front is crank sensor, if thats what you mean?, and doesnt need to be removed.

Thanks guys, it was the crank sensor which stayed attached to the engine when you remove the gearbox.

I think you are referring to the black sensor that is actually on the gearbox, it is held on by a small 10mm bolt. I changed the clutch on a 1.1 forte this weekend. The sensor is comes loose as you start to remove the box of the engine. I then put it back into position just before I lined the box back up when putting it on.
I used a Haynes manual but that was a bit around the houses to be honest, its good for finding out where bolts are etc such as the starting motor but if you follow their guides it will take ages.
Cheers
