Hey peeps,

Was given this induction kit by a friend, however there are no instruction manuals on the internet that I can find, and I can't seem to find anything about this kit on the intermawebs.

On the label its a "Pipercross Venom universal induction kit, 88mm INI FT win 60, 65, 70 & 75mm).

I have a VTR mrk2 (1998-2001 Silvertop engine)

Ok, so, will it fit? And is it worth fitting it?

Cheers!

(Ps, where exactly on the engine block is the Chassis number? As the old owner never sent the registration cert, so I have to apply for one)

Well, that doesnt look like a pipercross one.

As for the possible benefits of fitting:

1. You may get a slightly better throttle response
2. It will make a loud induction roar under wide open throttle. (dont know whether you are after the noise, but that is probably the main reason why most people buy them).

To fit it you will need to remove your standard air box and fit to the throttle body. You may need to sort out some hoses and jubilee clips to get it to fit properly.

So, if it will fit, how do I fit it? Are there instruction manuals around for similar kits? As I'm still learning with this DIY car stuff :P

Standard 1.1 :), I'm wondering, if its designed for a smaller engine, will it limit the air flow into mine?
