Problems that i can think of:
Unlock ECU
Engine Mounts
Return fuel line
obviously all the other stuff like brakes and driveshafts, im just bothered about stuff to get the engine running right!
any help? :)

Engine loom to interior loom need to be spliced, as the Gti one will have 2 plugs to go to the interior, where as the furio only has one. This is the hardest part of the whole job If you plan on doing it all yourself. It took me a few days to work out everything, label, check and double check the wires before I cut them.
You can use your existing gearbox so driveshafts are fine and only the drivers side top mount needs to be changed.
Also consider things like rad, fan, ancillaries that aren't included and the fact that your clocks might not work correctly, or worse should you mess the loom up.

IS that the case with all the 16v engines going to a furio?

does it matter that my furio is a multi plug and this GTI im putting in is a single plug?
does this mean i'll need to replace the dash loom and ignition barrel aswell?
also will it run on the standard fuel pump?
