Is it totally bog standard at the moment?

£500 will get you plenty mate easily if you look round but if its acceleration then gearbox is first port of call, S1 Rallye box is the shortest but they usually go for 200-250 next up is 1.4 xsi box again price baries but looking at £100+.

If it was me I would go for 1.4 xsi box its a good compromise for day to day use aswell, 4 branch manifold and a cat back system plus panel filter looking at the price of 2nd hand parts you could do that lot with spare money left over within that budget

i was thinking a 4-1 manifold and a supersprint decat pipe with a cold feed intake would this effect acceleration much ?
