Roadside emission tests due to decat?

Hi all.. Just looking more into getting decat mani on my nk2 vtr and how often do the police do roadside emission tests as obviously it would fail?!.. What power do they have when your car fails.. What are the chance of them doing it?? Cheeeers all

i have decat and have never been pulled and done emisions test tbh i dont think they have the tools to do1 and tbh they have never pulled me for having illegal white led number plate bulbs so you should be alright mate

biggest load of shit ive ever heard, they DO have the equiptment to do it roadside, they do it all day every day, just depends where they are at each day and weathr or not your unucky enough to to be flagged down, it is a risk if your that bothered dont get one, chances are youll probs never get pulled but they are doing it more often, powers they have will be your car impounded most likley and youll have to pay the recovery fee to get it back, most probs a fine or defect also

They can also hand out a form, think its called a P9 or something like that. Means your car needs to be MOT'ed again at a garage before you can drive it.

Then you need to take the MOT certificate to the police station.

White LED plate bulbs aren't illegal as far as I'm aware?

decats dont always fail emissions, if your engines running well and is serviced regularly it is perfectly capable of passing the test without the cat.

you can get away with decat as long as it fits the requirements said above. Ive had my decat on for over 5 months and havent been stopped once for it.
