Hi guys, My misses has a corsa b that shes had no end of trouble with, Headgasgket, Warped head, You name it.

Its a shed and thats being kind.

Shes itching to get rid but needs it running half decent before part ex-ing, or whatever. Its needed an mot aswell before she could gain any interest cause it was soon to expire.

So she gets her MOT the other day, Squeezed it through thank god. (unknown to me) She had no anti freeze in car and with this recent mega cold snap, the day after it passes MOT she phones me to tell me her cars Over heatin bad and shes puled up outside mine, Luckily not hitting the red zone. I check the water bottle, No water. However she told me she Only just put some in at work ( bottom of the road ).

So now Its been sitting outside mine for past week, Basically, the situation, from what i can see is a cracked radiator. I put some more water in when it wasnt as cold outside yesterday ( to spot where the leak was ) and it pissed straight out the corner of rad. But also fan doesnt kick in or anything aswell now. You rekon anything else is fucked like the fan or waterpump ?

Initially i was thinking a quick radweld jobbie, But it looks too bad a leak for that. The timing chains rattlin like fuck so we thought it might even be that rubbed through the water jacket ( which is inevitable eventually ) But we want to get rid before anything like that happens, But now this radiator business....... What you rekon. Cheers.

aah Damn..... she wont be happy, I can stil part ex it though even if she gets 200 or somet. If it holds water and the fan kicks in it wil run fine, We drove to Alton towers in it a few weeks back so it cant be that bad... I just dont want her to loose everything on it u get what i mean. She vows she will NEVER OWN A VAUXHALL AGAIN !
