WD-40 i clean my engine with seems safe enough to me does the job. It disperses water and prevents rust starting where it shouldnt.

Yes its a lubricant but what is wrong using it as a cleaner. I find it protects and shines.

loads ya can do mate, either get your ecu and fuse covers and rocker sprayed or buy some chrome/alloy covers from places like badass.co.uk , spec-r.co.uk, or custom-covers.co.uk. get some hoses or apriro do different coloured covers.also look on ebay, loadsa bits on there.i sometimes use abit on back to black in the engine on the black bits and autoglym metal polish and just water and elbow grease.heres mine to give some ideas mate.

Easy !!! Nice work mate. Car must be immaculate thoughout to have that much attention to detail under the bonnet. Very effective though
