Hi the car in question is a 1999 vtr mk1 with a vts conversion the engine was out ov a mk2 vts 2000 all fitted fine few snags on the way but neather the less. The engine has been camed with a full super sprint system Inc mani I put a 4 bar regulator in it the other day ran fine for bout a day but after that it cuts out at idle when coming down for high revs stalls but start her up again and she's ticks over fine. Then I put the std 3 bar regulator and it runs fine.

Anyone got any ideas

Thanx mike

Ps if any one has a aftermarket ecu for sale to fit a saxo single plug if u cold pm me with the info thanx mike :y:

Wild guess with out the car to hand but may be over fuelling with the 4 bar fpr and the ECU may be struggling to sort it out. What cams have you got fitted?

Edit: Sorry meant to say fpr not map.

the ecu cant cope with all the changes from standard, try a 3.5 bar or just get it remapped properly.

i have this exact problem. car wants to cut out etc i have recently fitted the return fuel line way it should be seems slightly better so far but it wants to cut out on idle still so maybe my car is cammes it came with a very odd fpr in the rail with a very big rubber pipe coming out the end. took it out as didnt know what was for.
