Furios don't come as 1.1, they're only 1.4 mate.

The furio is a 1.4 vtr, it got renamed the furio in the u.k., they are pretty similar to the vtr aside from brake size, rear disc and a higher displacement.

Furio's are 1.4i's, They can look identical to VTR's interior, exterior and the engine bay.

Ok well my engine looks like a 1.1 1.0 not a TRV, i had the furio stickers on the car when i got it and it had furio interior. My log book, dont know what u call it in the uk but the ownership book says
CITROEN SAXO FURIO
1124cc
made in 2001.

All the 8v models look exactily the same bud mine looks like same as a vtr and the 1.1, it will be called either 1.4 vtr or furio depends.

Mine isnt 8v, and it dosent look like VTR engine. I looks like a 1.0 engine and its 1.1. This is hard lol

irish vtr's are 1.4's iirc, therefore the op is correct. to answer your question you will need engine, loom and ecu. you may upgrade brakes to vt* brakes and gearbox if you wish
most of us only know vtr's to be 1.6 which is true in our country

So would that make 1.6 8v a Vts, what would a 1.6 16v be?

Yes it would. There is actually a lad on here from Ireland who had a 1.6 8v VTS. As Garry said im pretty sure they dont do a 16v version over in Ireland, could well be wrong though.

yes, people are confused as a furio to people in england is a 1.4 8v and a vtr is a 1.6 8v, whereas in ireland a furio is a 1.1 8v and a vtr is a 1.4 8v

Yes mate you have a 1.1 furio.
Basicaly, Irish cars are the same models, but the engines are 1 down from ours. So our furio is a 1.4, but your furio is a 1.1. Our vtr is a 1.6 8v, but your vtr is our furio. And our vts is a 1.6 16v, but your vts is our vtr
See if this helps explain.
Here;
1.4 furio
1.6 8v vtr
1.6 16 vts
Ireland;
1.1 Furio
1.4 vtr
1.6 8v vts

Pretty much ye, always worth remembering to state its an irish 1.1 furio if you are ever posting in a thread mate, as if you just state furio we will all just think 1.4. So worth mentioning :y: As Garry said below aswell, always mention when ordering parts its a 1.1, just incase they just see furio and think 1.4, although most factors etc take the reg, which gives engine size etc :y:
