iv put a new rocker cover gasket on my rocker cover ( before anybody says i did put it on properly ) and it started leaking again. i then removed it and put a gasket sealent on it and it still leaks. has anybody had this happen to them and what did you do to sort it ?

Replace the whole cover, it's probably warped.

The metal baffle plate gets bent/warped also preventing a good seal.

my old 106 had same problem. when the rocker cover is tightened down its compressed where the nuts sit on the cover, makes a dent in the cover and the nuts bottom out before it seals. I pushed the dent back out, and used large penny washers and locknuts, did the job for me. if not i guess the whole covers warped and wants swapping

but the thing is i also used gasket seal is well instead of the actual gasket. cleaned and applyed put it on left for 5 - 10 mins with the bolts hand tightened then after tightened up to the torque. this should have sealed it properly
