When does the cambelt need changing on a VTR? I thought it was around 60k miles for any car but looking around on the internet it seems that it depends on make of car.

around 60k but considering what can happen if it snaps then personally i do mine every 40k.

citroen recommend every 72k but thats a long time i change mine every 50k

mines only done 34k, ill be changing it at 40k
wonder if mine has been changed at all....done 68k now

have a look, usually will be a different make to standard saxo 1's if they bin changed for example think my cambelt on my old car said "halfords" althou i got a random garage to do it lol

yeah 9/10. unless you get it changed by citreon in which most people wouldent cos theyd charge you through the roof.

how much will it roughtly cost to get this changed then as mine will nd changin withim the next few months,
will hav 2 go round the garages i think but nice 2 know how much i should roughly be prepared 2 pay.

It only cost £140 for my corsa sri and that was twin cam (not sure if that makes a difference) I didnt get it done at vauxhall though just at my local.
