Supersprint cat back race centre pipe

Hi guys, hoping for a bit of advice on this one before buying..

Was advised at my mot a month or so ago that there was a split/rusting on my centre silencer/centre pipe area and it would need to be replaced or looked at soonish.

Been looking at the supersprint centre pipe here (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-exhaust/exhaust-pipes/supersprint-cat-back-race-centre-pipe-citroen-saxo-mk2-vtr.html)minus silencer, I have a m2 2001 vtr, would this be fine to fit straight through from the cat to the backbox? Will not having a silencer make it very loud at all, as I don't want a really loud exhaust!

What backbox have you got on at the moment?

it will be quite loud without the silencer.

i have a de-cat supersprint center pipe with a standard 1.1 back box on my vts, and its not overly loud on idle can get nice a raspy when the loud pedal gets pressed though, but my mate who had it before me on his gti with standard back box said it was louder on his car, as the back box is bigger than the 1.1 so again should be louder with the vtr box

I'm also doing this, I don't know what backbox I have on my car but it looks like a standard replacement VTR one. I still have the cat i just want to take the middle silencer out I hope it sounds nice

just put mine on my vtr other day, supersprint de cat centre, and some jap end can, no performance induction kit, sounds FAAAAAAAT, but each morning on the way to work on dual carriage way i do go deaf
