I think you can put them in but not sure on difference

I was gonna fit a 106 rallye cam on my 1.1 was told it will fit

Save daft amount of money needed to get any power from a 1.1 to save for a new car and insurance.

no point going to the effort of camming a 1.1

people have and will do daft things to them, but for the money you could very easily just get a bigger engine/better car

Wait until your NCB up a bit & buy a vtr/s.

It depends on what setup you are after, probably a fast road cam is best for you! I had mine profiled by an expert engineer on my AX GTi 1360cc and the duration he got was 274 degrees. It cost me €50 but worthed! Since you are going to get a higher lift its best to buy a vernier pulley! Like that you can get optimum timing of the cam shaft (advance/retard)! Power gain is great and if you chip the ecu you will effectively gain lots of more power!
In all honesty, its best to get a TU 1360cc engine and fit it in! Then do the above!

putting a vtr cam wont do anything tbh, you can get ur 1.1 cam reprofiled, like i did!! does make a performance increase, ive taken it down shakey raceway (1/4 mile dray) was hitting 18 seconds, but thats with standard ecu. once i get a remap or aftermarket ecu it will be alot quicker.

Definitely you need to a performance chip or ecu! Higher lift needs more fuel to get more power! Ideally you increase compression by skimming the head! That would make it much better! And lighten the flywheel (just a little bit)

ok that sounds good, where can i get it re-profiled? could i remap the standerd ecu?

cheers

i got mine done at auto-sprint in birmingham. cost about £90 to do, im trying to find a decent place to remap my standard ecu at the moment, if not im going for the predator ecu.

no sorry mate, could ask in the regional area sections for places.

Tyanu888 - ive also had my head skimmed aswell, the head gasket went at the time so done the camshaft and head all in one.
