just keep the stones lubricated and you'll be fine, should only need a light hone

its easy enough mate. Stick the drill on a fairly slow speed, and move up and down as you go, so you get a sort of cross-hatched pattern.

Running the engine in properlyafter that is pretty important though. You need to get it out on the road and load it up as soon as possible (but without high revs). So basically select a high gear, give it w.o.t. up till about 3k, brake, and repeat. Best way to bed in new rings.

You will need a lube with cutting qualities, i used brake fluid when i done mine. When you take it apart have a look to see the condition of the cylinders, they might just need a rub down.
If you do decide to hone them dont go crazy thinking your making yourself a 3L saxo, you dont really want to take alot off atall.

Why are you getting new pistons? are you going forged?
If not then i wouldnt bother, just get new rings.
