Hi..

Im camming my VTR next week, but wondering which to have?

Ive used Newman PH3 before, loved them! Power gains was amazing.

But didn't really love the idle.. But I can suffer it..

I won't be having a Re-Map straight away, but probably will be in future.

My mate had Kent cams fitted and he loves it! On a VTR too.. But never used before?

What you reckon I should go for? Don't mind which Stage 1s.

Thanks.

i used the newman ph3 cam, with 4-2-1 manifold, supersprint centre section, enclosed induction kit on a mk1 vtr.

the idle is lumpy no doubt, the car hasnt been mapped up yet tho so hopefully it will be improved.
power gains are nice aswell when it decides to put all the power through.
but the car struggles sumtimes through the revs which is down to not enough fuel going in. it can run without a remap it just aint fun if it decides to bog down :(
