I'm looking for a guide, or some info about how to fit my Newman ph3s to my vts properly. (I have already had a search)
I managed to bend all of my inlet valves last time i tried ...lol, So i'm desperate not to make the same mistake.
I can time them to std timing alright, but i need to know how to adjust them to 110deg btdc and atdc

Thanks

Nah, that's a good guide to replacing cams.
I'm looking for a timing guide though. Need to know how to set up my dti gauges so that i cam ensure max lobe lift is at the correct timing

You basically need to use a dti gauge to find tdc by having the end of it (will need an extension) ontop of the piston through the spark plug hole.

Then you want to have a dti gauge ontop of the follower on piston 1 - and use this to advance and retard the camshaft to get your desired lift at tdc.

You can rotate the engine over to check the lift when piston one is at tdc (top dead centre)

Repeat for exhaust side.
