raised rev limiter

if i had a vts remapped and rev limiter to 7 800 would there be any problems has anyone had any problems with working the engine so hard?

As long as you didnt hit 7,800 revs every time you shifted I doubt you would have too many issues.
I would suspect the life of the engine would be reduced if you revved it that hard repeatedly
