getting a cold air intake from halfords for temporarily
will this fit my saxo vts 1998

there universal mate. you just make them fit in the space you have as there flexible.

do i jyst fit it to the second fand to the carb box

one end in the ront of the car (air supply) the other goes to the airbox. if you dont mind cutting the box you can cut a hole in it to big enough for the cold air feed ducting, remove the alloy end, put the ducting through the airbox then reconnect the alloy trumpet thing to seal it. you can gain good gains from that and a good pannel filter. cheaper than a bmc etc
