help with battery

my battery light has come on my car now, (french shit) smileys/smiley7.gif smileys/smiley7.gif smileys/smiley7.gif nothing electric works now, no lights, stereo nothing! anyone got anyideas ? car starts fine, the belt is fine by the looks of it ?

sorry are you saying you have no power at the dash or lights etc, yet you can start the car? as that doesnt make sense since the car is started from the same fuse box that the lights etc get there power from, and it requires a signal to the relay from the ign barrel to start stuff off.

yeah thats what i thought, but i can start the car but that is it nothing else works!! it is random as fuck! i have no idea what it could be ! ?
