Still got an intermittent fault with the airbag light on my vts. Diagnostics says malfunction passenger side moduile squib. I have already cut and soldered the connecter under the passenger seat to sort this and it worked for about 2 weeks. Now it comes and goes as it chooses to (normally after switching off the ignition) and after about a week of doing this it stays on constantly resulting in me having to get it reset again. Any ideas?

ok, this is now a permanent fault. Could the squib be the connector on the actual airbag?

Well i`m not 100% sure on this but I would say yes because that was the problem with mine although I don`t have a passenger airbag, the squib on the steering wheel was faulty.

cheers buddy, poxy flashing light is driving me mad. Just needed a second opinion, found out that passenger side on the diagnostics was actually meaning the drivers side on UK models aswell!! Steering wheel it is.

Not bulbs, i've been told mk2 has LEDs. Steering wheel has to be taken off to get to the clocks anyway so might aswell just change it
