Yo all, just a basic question, im completely clueless so excuse my idiotic questions.
my saxo is completely standard, i'd just like it to sound decent, i've heard these little 1.1's blowing about sounding pretty meaty, and its making me jealous even tho im in a VTR LOL.
So what's the Script on making your engine sound like a beast? Exhaust? Induction kit?
like i said im completely clueless, and if anybody could let us know that wuld be much appreciated.

if it's needed ma car details are 1999 SAXO VTR 1.6 8V
cheers in advance, peace for now, JT.

If sound is all your after then you want an open induction kit, pipercross would be my choice and a back box or cat back exhaust. Magnex would my choice for exhaust. smileys/smiley2.gif

Magnex or Scorpion are your best bet for full systems. I was very impressed with the quality of my Scorpion when I had it on my VTS.

TBH I really wouldn't bother with an open induction kit. You're much better off spending the extra now and getting an enclosed one. I'd suggest Green or Simota

Cheers Lads, I'll have a look into The Exhaust system's.

is there much difference between open induction kit's and enclosed 1's? other than price?
basically just looking for sound at the minute, couldn't really care less about BHP increase or owt yet, so dont rly wana spend the extra money if i dont need to smileys/smiley2.gif

open kits will be a lot louder....so if your not bothered about performance go for an open...k&n/pipercross/powertec
